Harnesses
This page lists the coding agents (harnesses) that droneship run supports and the launch options each one takes. Name the agent after run. The registry id also works, so scripts that use claude-code keep working.

Model calls go through the Highflame gateway by default, and you pay with your own API key (--byok) or your own plan (--subscription). With no key sent, claude and codex use the API key you saved on the console’s Settings page, under Model keys. With no saved key, on a terminal they use your plan. With no terminal, nobody can sign in to a plan, so send a key with --byok (for claude, a claude setup-token token works too).
Notes:
- Prompt runs are Claude Code only. They use your exported key, your plan’s token in
CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN,--byok, or the key saved in the console (not--subscriptionor--direct). They take--model, and pass no other flags to the agent. They start the repo’s.mcp.jsonservers only with--trust-repo-mcp. See Background runs and logs. --subscriptionneeds an agent with its own sign-in, which is why onlyclaudeandcodextake it. It’s for interactive sessions. A prompt run uses your Claude plan throughCLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKENinstead.--byoktakes the variable’s name, not its value. For Claude Code, the key stays in the gateway sidecar, not in the sandbox.--subscriptionand--directare the options that put a credential in the sandbox.- MCP servers come from the repo’s own
.mcp.json, and start only with--trust-repo-mcp. See Tools and MCP.
An unknown name fails before a sandbox starts, and the error suggests the closest match:
